Charlotte is a female trapper spider who is near sighted.
She is hairy and eats flies.  She uses her creativity advantage when she comes up with an idea to save Wibur from untimely death. 

 In the novel she has an egg sac containing 514 baby spiders who all sail into the sunset except for three runts that stay with Wilbur because who were unable to spin "balloons".

In the novel, she comes up with an ingenius plan to save Wilbur and it works

Charlotte is incredibly generous, calm, and caring.
She is very patient.  She is creative and smart.  She is happy with life and is very understanding.
